A Tru-Penn, Gasoline Station – A Merchandising Mystery to Solve

Re: A Tru-Penn, Gasoline Station – A Merchandising Mystery to Solve Though partially obscured, I believe the sign to the left of the attendant is "VEEDOL" which I think was an American oil/lubricant brand.

If you had a question for Henry Ford about the Model A...

If he was around today, I would ask him what viscosity and brand of oil should I put in my A and does he recommend detergent or non-detergent. Gerry

    Model A with a computer ?

I have a Creative D100 portable speaker that works great. It can be run on 4 AA batteries or wall power using the included AC power adapter. It has bluetooth capability or you can use the aux input on the back and the headphone out on your phone or tablet. I play music from my phone/tablet using...

    Books/Tutorials for Replacing Wood

Thanks to all for the replies. I'm not sure what to do now. Since this was my father's car, I would like to keep it, but I'm pretty sure I don't have the patience/skill to do the job properly. I think I need to win the lottery and have someone restore it properly for me. Anyone have some...

    Books/Tutorials for Replacing Wood

Well now I'm kind of stuck on what I should do. I want to keep this car because it belonged to my Dad, but I know that at minimum, the wood on the frame needs to be replaced. While I would love a perfectly restored car, I'd be really happy with a safe and functional daily driver - which is what...

    Books/Tutorials for Replacing Wood

I have a 30 Murray Town Sedan that needs the wood replaced. Are there any books, tutorials, instructions, or videos that explain the process? I would like to get enough information to convince myself that I can't do it.:) Is it possible to replace the wood and not have to re-paint the body...

    Model Identification Help

I want to thank everyone for the inputs. Don Turley: I plan to replace all the handles so I'll be sure to install the correct ones AND to install them correctly. The current handles are very worn and detract from the appearance of the somewhat shiny paint and new interior. I will bag, tag...
