    Need freight suggestions

I have used Fastenal many times with no issues. Parts must be on a pallet. The best part is that the buyer pays the freight when picked up...seller just drops the pallet off at the local Fastenal store; no pre-payment by the seller. It has been a few years, so check in with your local store for...

    1929 Model A Deluxe

no such thing as a "sports roadster" either...the sidemounts were a dealer option as was the covered rear trunk as well. You might want to buy a copy of the Restoration Guide from either of the national clubs; it will answer a lot of your questions.

    Battery Charger

I have an HF 6/12 charger/maintainer that does everything the unit pictured above does...I use it on my 2 Optimas 6v and regular car/mower batteries, 12v. Cost was $26.95 2 years ago and it has never given me any problems. It might be worth a look.

How to Get Title to Grandpa’s A

Re: How to Get Title to Grandpa’s A the only people that can issue you a valid title for your grandfathers Model A is your Ohio DMV...any other advice is just guesswork based on how their particular state handles these situations. The Ohio DMV will tell you what it needs for documentation...

    Transmision oil

just FYI... The former MARC tech advisor ran his '30 Model A on straight 100% STP in the transmission and the rear end for over 50,000 miles. No issues and when checked he stated the STP was a honey color and had worked just fine. If you need verification check the MARC archives.

need a new 6 volt battery for my 1933

I've got an Optima 6v dated 2014 that reads 6.8v on my HF digital charger/ maintainer ($26) and the battery cranks just fine. I also have a 2016 date Optima 6v that reads 6.8, no issues. I leave it on a week and then skip 3 weeks. The Optima is one tough battery.

    Oil pan nut

#2 post Ruth has it right...the thread is 1/8" pipe thread, and it will keep the oil pump in place instead of dropping it on your head. A great little gadget to have in your arsenal.
