Thank you for the input. I have inspected the pumps very closely. I have run the engine with the hood open, and close inspection. No leak. Loosing a gallon, I should see it.

I have had very good luck with dryer sheets. But you should take some cloth, and with a rubber band, cover your exhaust output. I have seen many mice like to move in there.
