    Battery Box ID

Need a little help. Clearing out the storage building and came across this battery box. If my memory is working, I think that I got it with a bunch of spare parts when I bought my '40, but it doesn't appear to be right for a '40, so I'm not sure what it is, but would like to know before...

    Bring a Trailer

What problems is BaT having? Looks like Hemmings is copying what BaT created with a slightly different interface, and charging a lot more money for cars in certain price ranges.

    dent removal

That's what I would suggest. Bring it to their shop and ask if they can remove the dent without drilling holes or other kinds of destructive surgery. They can do some amazing things with some unusual tools.

    Teenager cleaning flathead electrolysis

It's a good video and I sure admire the kid's gumption. I still feel that an overnight soak in a chelating rust remover is the best method since all internal and external surfaces have the rust safely removed.

    Clay bar

Yes, I use both the Nanoskin wash mitt and their sponges, which are essentially the same thing and definitely prefer them to clay bars. Neither clay, nor the synthetic alternative will harm the 35 year old lacquer paint. That said, it will induce some marring to the paint, but a very light...
