I’m experiencing a wobble at low speeds when I hit a bump, but not at high speeds. I replaced the radius ball mount with a new style and tossed the rubber ball shroud, but my radius ball is shaped like an egg! Should I have it built up or cut off and weld a new one on? Shure that’s my problem...

I had the same issue, check the flare on the steel line to make sure it doesn’t have a hairline fracture.

I had a problem with the base of distributor to where the cable screwed in. It was actually grounding only at the screw end point. Ended up ordering a new cable and presto! Another problem occurred with the new switch, had to insulate the back of switch. Would work when dash was loose dangling...

Same issue about shorting out in back until I insulated the back.

I dropped the bowl to check for sediment and wondered what the level should be without the float displacement. The float sits level when inverted. I measured the fuel level which is above the jets which was about 1” to the base. Just curious, I’m trouble shooting which I suspect is my new old...

If putting new junction box on, be sure the back of brass bolts are recessed to prevent grounding to the body.

Do you think he should maybe check his block for flat spots or might mill the head since he’s got it removed?
