Good to know! Figured that might be the case given the weakness in these trannies is from the OD gear. Interestingly I have found a couple of 18T OD gears available…..I presume these won’t work with the 34T cluster in place of the 19T? Based on the Ford Garage info, the 18T is around 1/8”...

Yes that was my understanding. The tag on the case is RUG CD which looks like it isn’t a bad starting point given the 1st and 2nd gear ratios are the same as the Goldilocks. Was surprised to find the right cluster in it but not complaining lol one less thing to try and find!
