1934 Ford flathead fuel push rod

Hey folks I’m working on a 1934 Ford BB truck project with a 21 stud flathead. I’ve run into some confusion regarding the correct push rod length to use for the mechanical fuel pump. My engine is a 1934 21 stud flathead with what I assume is an original style aluminum intake manifold. Many...

    Clutch Release Shaft Bushing tool

Just did this job as well. The install driver from Third Gen was out of stock a few weeks ago when I ordered parts so I ended up using a socket that matched the I.D. of the bushing, a larger socket for the driver and hammered them home. For removal of the old bushings I used a sharp cold...

    ISO BB-7043 Oil baffle

Good afternoon everybody, I’m at the tail end of putting together a T8/T9 4 speed transmission for my ‘34 V8 BB truck. But I’ve had no luck finding part (BB-7043) “Oil Baffle” for the main input gear bearing. I called Vanpelt but unfortunately they are out of stock indefinitely and weren’t...

    Incorrect 1934 BB Truck bellhousing?

Thank you all for the helpful info! As some of you pointed out, this ‘35 trans was the smoking gun to my issue ( also upon closer inspection I finally saw that this transmission case was a single cast piece). Luckily I found a gentlemen not too far away with the parts that I need. Cheers guys 👍🏻

    Incorrect 1934 BB Truck bellhousing?

That sounds very plausible! I had no idea the 4 cyclinder was longer. The only reason I had thought this was an original v8 truck was the v8 badging it had (grille, hood).. But we both know that doesn’t mean anything. I’ll post more pictures tomorrow, thank you for your help!

    Incorrect 1934 BB Truck bellhousing?

Right you are T Scott, the stock motor mounts are sandwiched under that plate on both sides. Essentially, I need to ditch these homemade looking motor Mount plates and scoot the engine forward approximately 2 inches to mount in the correct location. However this leads me down this rabbit hole...

    Incorrect 1934 BB Truck bellhousing?

Hello everyone, first time poster here. I have a 1934 Ford BB truck that I’ve been piecing together for years, only to recently find out I have a fitment issue with the ‘34 Flathead in it. Not sure why it didn’t dawn on me when I was installing the engine, but it sits much further back than it...
