    1930 Murray Fordor for sale

Here is a link to the craigslist add for my '30 Fordor. Newly rebuild motor by AER and it is practically all done mechanically. I have hesitated tearing it down for paint because I like the look of it. $10,000 obo http://quadcities.craigslist.org/cto/5631461313.html

    Borescope for cell phone

I have one from Home Depot that is marketed through Ryobi that I have used in the house but not on the A yet. The one I have has a 3' flexible but rigid (like a movable desk lamp) tube that the camera is mounted on. https://www.ryobitools.com/phoneworks/#/inspection-scope

    Closing statement

There are a lot of adult children who have nothing better to do then bully others due to their ignorance. Just ignore the fools and hopefully you will stick around and take advantage of those of us who care about others and want to help. Curt

Larry - Where are you located? I live in the Quad Cities and I installed my motor myself a year ago. Feel free to message me and I will gladly give you a hand. Curt

    UHaul

I used a U-Haul when I purchased my Model A and hauled it from Des Moines to Davenport, IA. The only issue I had was the trailer was behind some plowed snow so it was a little challenging to get out. And that it was -15 deg F when I picked the car up so strapping it down was a memorable...

    Windshield Header

Like KGBNut said, replacing the header is a very tedious project because of the amount of fitting needed to get the header to fit well. Spend a little money and get a few good rasps and a small sander to clean up the rough wood. I probably spend 10-15 hours fitting my header to my...

    Trouble reading instruction

I recently got rid of my long block crate. I think you are over thinking what is needed. Rich gives you the size needed to cover the motor and the curved drawings are to support the front and rear. Mine was bolted to the bottom bell housing holes and the front to the front motor mount holes...

Installing engine and trans into bare frame - best method?

I installed mine with a little help from my wife using a standard engine hoist with the hook connected to a spark plug adapter in the third cylinder I installed both the engine and transmission together.

    Engine Install: First Few Attempts

I installed my motor with transmission with a little help from my wife. Once I confirmed I spread the frame enough I asked my wife to push the engine back after I lined up the u-joint. I spent two hours trying to do this alone and it only took five minutes with her help. Patience, patience...

Any hints, suggestions, or instructions for removing fuel tank

I installed mine myself with reasonable success. If you have an extra set of handle and a lot of patience you can get it done and looking great

This kid sounds like a Model A Driver

I have to admit the ending caught me off guard. Very funny and I needed the laugh today.

What Brand of Multimeter Do You Suggest?

Fluke is by far the best but I agree with the statements above that if you will only use it a few times buy the cheap one. Be careful with the HF unit that you have the leads hooked up properly and the selector switch set properly or you will be heading back to buy a new meter. Curt
