    Was just looking at a Simmons thread by Purdy Swoft dated 12-21-2012. He listed photos but they are no longer with the thread. Here is the idle jet, it is similar but about 1/8 inch longer than the Zenith idle jet and the threads are different.

    Can someone verify the thread size on a Simmons idle jet? The thread size on a Zenith idle jet is M5x.75 metric. Other than the thread size possibly different. Is there any other difference in the idle jet compared to a Zenith? Thanks in advance Charley

    Thanks for your replies. I had a Simmons carburetor here and just removed the GAV. It is the same with the holes in and near the tip. Here is a photo of the needle. Best Charley
