Any reason you’re not using an overdrive setup? That extra gear allows for better off the line gearing and better highway mpg.

Mine looks like this, I was thinking of removing steering wheel and rotating it.

My 1949 has no adjustment, my steering wheel is a bit off from changes. Not sure if I can remove the steering wheel and rotate it. I don’t see a key to stop me from doing it in the splines.
