Front window on 29 Tudor - how to take out

I will have to take out the front window, as the frame is rusted. I am a little insecure how to.... ( I tried "search" but didnt find) Opening front window to the max, shows 6 screws in the top ... they might hold the hinge, but once i unscrew they loosen (some hidden nuts ?), but wont come...

    Model A clutch

While driving, there should not be contact between bearing and fingers. Make sure you have some free play in the clutch-pedal before there is some drag. I doubt you will find new fingers to fit your plate. I got 3 (Model-A) pressure-plates and all parts are different (not interchangeable)...

    Radiator update

I lately opened (Dremel) the top of my old radiator. 80% of the channels are clogged which might be a reason for overheating :D . Attached pic (into the top of the radiator) to make visible what Bill is talking about.

    U-joint Play

The rivetet version is not to be rebuilt !!! Once you see damage , there is no doubt... Test (if you see no damage): Hold the U-joint at one end and shake it. Once it wobbles without resistance and you hear noises.... ITS TIME TO REPLACE ! The "new" parts to be sold by the vendors are not...

On german roads with a trailer

We frequently cruise along Rhine-River as this is about 1 hour drive to get there. Nice surrounding and nice people/tourists to meet there, but lots of traffic. We never met any other "A" or "T" while cruising and sadly it is a VERY rare event to meet an other pre-war-car on open roads Have a...
