How do you file the inner distributor cap contacts so they have the proper gap from the rotor? I assume its done through the opening where the coil mounts. But I haven't taken it apart yet.

    Oil Filter Return

All Right! I found the bolt at Third Gen. Where can I find 90 degree Female -4 JIC hose end and the straight hose end? My Oil filter has a Brake line fitting. Can I go from -4 hose to a brake line fitting? Thanks!

    Oil Filter Return

Tasty solution! Where did you get the hollow bolt at distributor? Is that a brake line bolt? Also: my '40 firetruck has the oil canister at the rear of head. Do I need to move it to the front to get the gravity drop.

    PCV kits

Would a PCV affect a brake booster? I understand gas fumes are bad for the booster. Can I put a check valve in the booster's vacuum hose, which connects to the carb base?

    '41 ford VIN question--help!

I have a firetruck with a 99T engine number on the registration. The "T" denotes truck of 1 ton or larger, according to Van Pelt. But the list of numbers is for Cars. Is the frame number the same as engine number? Who is a good source for big truck parts?

    Resistor installation

The "first nut" on the resistor is on the left. Correct? Is the fuse holder related to the resistor? I'm working on a 1941 firetruck for a volunteer fire department. Thank you.
