    1929 Ford Tri-Motor

+1 There is usually at least one of these flying every year at Oshkosh, WI during the EAA fly-in. Even if you don't take a ride (last year was ~$80/15 min. ride) it's neat watching them take off and land.

    29 CCPU window channel install

Sorry to revive 'old' topics... Can anyone point to a source for the rubber U-channel? Checked the WEFCO webpage and couldn't find it in their online literature. Sent them an email and waiting to hear back... Would love to go to Hershey and see what's available, but it's a long drive...

Procedure for re-torquing head bolts after 1,000 mile

Just curious... What was done with engines right off the assembly line? Were the nuts re-torqued after some kind of engine break-in procedure? Did they loosen the nuts and then re-tighten the nuts? We're talking about static friction vs. kinetic friction here, not a 'bond' (i.e. rust)...

Whether or not the O.P.'s interest in acquiring a Model is sincere, and I hope it is, a person should only be judged by his or her past behavior. To that end: http://www.fordbarn.com/forum/showthread.php?t=73074 Something sounds fishy, but why not guve a person the benefit of the doubt...

    Vapor lock!

Here's another thought: For those of you going to Oshkosh, you might have an opportinuty to learn about vapor formation and fuel delivery. Since the meeting is at the EAA grounds, look around and see if there are any exhibits/posters that metion vapor formation, deviation from ideal...

    Vapor lock!

It's short notice, but since the MARC meeting is in Oshkosh next month, why not invite a guest speaker to shed some light on the subject? Someone local with extensive experience in thermodynamics and heat transfer would be ideal....someone who knows the difference between vapor and gas. Two...
