I appreciate this informative "discussion". I currently have what the previous owner installed and they appear to be "concourse correct" with cotton-braided plug wires and rajah terminals. I'm looking for best function over correctness as i would like to use this car as a daily driver for short...
I would like to replace the spark plug wires in my 40 ford sedan deluxe. It is still 6 volt positive ground, has a 59AB motor with crab type distributor and newly replaced champion H-12 plugs. I have no clue what wires to use and would appreciate a recommendation from the experts. Many thanks.
Thank you Coop. Not only were you so kind to post my photos but u also knew what they were. I’ll definitely be dressing up my 40 ford with them!

I found 4 of these in the trunk of my 1940 ford sedan deluxe. Does anyone recognize what this part is and where it belongs.
Many thanks
Sorry…need to figure out how to upload photos

Thank you Gene for both the thumbs up on this type of fan and the tips about what to check. I too am moving to the plastic fan for peace of mind. Seconds before the blade sheared off the fan, a good friend had been looking under the hood to see what the rattle was. He just closed the hood on...
