like many others, I will polish, finish, fix, repair or even upgrade if needed but will not change it! (keep the history of the car as found) and be the next "custodian"

Just came from target and guess what! did not find them, the store clerk look at me kinda funny (I swear he'll call security) not a good day!!!

My 28 does not have turning lights, so it was good to see the use of arm-hand signaling before turning in the video; but the driver behind me does not understand them when I do it !!! :rolleyes:

I guess, ain't getting the accessory.. for a moment I did believe that I was ruining my timing gear!!! Thanks for the input..guys, I certainly appreciate your comments, I learn from them and from the other threads.. I am having fun getting with my car in full working order

I found an accessory for the model A called "timing gear oiler", my A-28 does not have it... so the question is: in the procedure to prepare the engine to operate do I need to hand lubricate this gear? :eek: Any reference to this accessory or procedure for the timing gear lubrication will be...

I even double clutch not only on my A-28 but also in my 72 VW bug

I will say that if you get an alternator with a given polarity, one will not be able to change polarity due to the solid state hardware that comes inside it.. (...course I may be wrong..)
