Ok am I missing something?
I know it was Very hot day here in Darwin and the heat may have affected my Brain but I just tried to drain my oil for the first time on my Model A and for the life of me I can’t get my sump plug out.
I loosened the plug and it started to undo, then all of a sudden it...
I'm glad I'm not the only Model A owner that has trouble going from third to second.
I use the Jack Bahm method of shift from first to second ( normal shift ) then double clutch into third. on the way back down I double clutch give the engine a rev some times I get it in, some times I crunch.
Quickchange the reason for the conversion is id like the better half to be comfortable to drive the coupe. I’d like to make it as easy to drive as possible. I’m happy to roll around as a lefty but I have several “toys” that only I can drive or ride. So I think it is time to play nice and share...
Just seeing if anyone on the forum has done a right hand drive conversion on a model A.
I’d like to convert mine from left to right. I have had a bit of a look online and have come up empty handed. Any info would be be Greatly appreciated.
Cheers Byron

Thank you so much Gents. I will go out and pull the horn appart shortly.
I feel a bit silly right now because there is a sticker on the battery that says 6V.
I assumed if it had an alternator it would be 12V. Haha so much to learn.
Ill let you know if I can get it going.
Have a safe easter.
Ed the fuse blew the second time with the engine running. As for what voltage the lamps are I have no idea. When I pulled out one of the globes to check one I couldn't see any markings on it.
The fuse on the starter is a 20 amp
Hi guys quick question
My new model A is in the process of getting ready for rego.
So I’m going over everything with a fine tooth comb, two reasons I don’t like walking and I like exploring.
Anyway I was checking out my lights and how they work (engine was not running but key on). For some...

Hi Gang! Just a quick new Model A owner question or two.
How Much water (demineralised) do you put in a Model A radiator? Do I fill that Bad boy up to the top and screw my beautiful bird wing cap back on or is there a certain amount that must be in the radiator for it to work properly.
And...
