What year Ford pickup hood are interchangable on a 1947 cab?

Sold - For sale is a 1941 Ford car steering column and three on the tree column shift shaft mechanism. There is no inner steering shaft, or box. The key and column lock mechanism is froze up. Parts have been sand blasted. Cash only. Shipping can be arranged at buyers expense.

For sale is an open drive driveshaft from a 1950 Ford 4 door car. It was mated to a Flathead V8 with a three speed side shift transmission. It includes the front yoke and the rear universal joint. From what I have read, it sounds like Ford used the same driveshaft in all models of their shoebox...

You know Alan, I read that somewhere in a blog that listed the different model numbers of 94’s, what years they were used, on cars or trucks etc. and it had a few comments here and there about each. As with anything, some things are based on quantitative testing and some you find are opinions...

From what I’ve read, the 8BA was used in 1949 and had been considered to have better flow than previous years. That would be my choice.
