Thanks guys. The cross shaft I have was a gift along with several items, so I'd like to use the actual one to honor the donor. Any advice on the rivet removal and installation on the end castings? I do have a large press and machine shop at work, which is a nice perk.

Hi, hoping someone has some advice on rebuilding the service brake cross shaft bushings on a '31 Model A. I've looked at Mac's catalog and see the new bushings, but wouldn't the shaft itself need trued on a lathe and some clearance allowed for the new bushings? If there is an undersized...
