My Tilly carb runs best when the idle air mixture screw is 1/8 to 1/4 open. What issues do I have preventing me from opening it to 1 1/2 open? I disconnected and plugged my vacuum wipers, which were leaking; also retorqued my manifold bolts to 45 f/lb's. New to Model A's.

Glad I searched GAV posts. I'm also a Model A newbie, with similar frustration sorting out my GAV usage. Thanks to all for helping better understand how to properly use my GAV, driving at elevation 2600. My 31 Pickup thanks you as well. Billy
