    New paint problem

I agree with the two previous people on the Barn. I have been a painter for most of my life, and I would have gone with the manufacture's procedure. With all the new paints along with product changes, it is important that you follow the maker's procedures. I would not have used a rattle can...

    Early wheels

The bolt pattern on both the 'AR' and 'B' wheels are the same. They will fit on the drums but will not bolt on correctly due to the shape of the drums and the shape of the inner portion of the wheel.

Serial Number and Year of production

I once owned a 1929 AA truck. The engine was dated November 1929 and the title stated 1930. The engine and frame number both matched. I have heard several times over my Model A years that sometimes vehicles are stored on the dealers lots prior to sale, and when they are finally sold, they are...

    Spare tire mount

There were several ways of mounting the spare tire on Model A's. Depending if you have a large 'AA' truck, commercial chassis, custom bodied vehicle or a car would dictate the way you mount the tire. It also depends on if you have a standard or deluxe model. I suggest that you purchase a copy of...

    '29 Standard Roaster Headlight question

You have an early 1928 light switch. Also, 1928 thru February 1929 have a two position headlamp switch which is different than the later '29's thru 1931 which have either a two bulb system or a single bulb with cowl lamps. I own a February 1929 Roadster that has the earlier switch with with...
