I was the guy in Central California that made 100 of those boxes in the early 2000's. Sold them all out in less than a year. There is a fellow named Tom Nelson if Fresno Ca making the curved boxes, and they are very nice and have very good powder coating on them.

Thank you. The boxes were powder coated with the same material that Belltech used on their parts. It was the best coating that I could find at the time. Bill Dohnke was out of Porterville and passed in the last 2 years.

From the picture that you posted, it does noy look like you have the nylon isolating washer between the antenna and the bracket. With out that washer your antenna is grounded and will send your SWR to the max.

No, try to keep them the way Ford built them. Several I have put adjustable cam gears on and advance the stock cam about 5 to 7 degrees which makes a little difference. Have several engines with 80,000 miles on them and still going strong.
