Just as a follow up, Bert’s had original ones in stock and they are on there way to me. Thanks for the help from everyone on the forum. Sounds like the one I had was a bad repo one from years ago. Good to have some old steel ones coming. I got two, so I’m ready for the other side to fail!

Okay, I’ll try calling tomorrow. Do you by chance know the name of the part? Lower seat bracket is what I would call it but I’m not so sure that is descriptive....lol

I was able to remove it, but cannot find a replacement. It is a cast piece and is not stamped steal.

I do not see any available in the catalogs. Anyone have any suggestions or links?

I found it really odd that it does not appear in their catalog or on the website.

The back of the seat has been leaning back on one side so I took it out to see what was going on. Discovered the hindged bracket is broken. See photos. I can’t find this part in any of the supplier catalogs. Any help with this would be great! Or maybe JB weld?

I am attending with my 23 runabout and my dad is attending with his Depot hack. Anyone else on the forum attending? By the way, I am looking for advice help installing Rocky Mountains on the runabout. Hoping to connect with local T people!

Tire tread is actually pretty good on two of the tires. No real cracks on the sidewalls, but I figured with the age of the tires and the lack of tread on two of them it made sense to put four new ones on her.

Just took it for her for the maiden voyage and she runs well. Seems smoother but that could just be me...

I can’t say that my installation was scratch free, but at least they are on the back of the wheel. A little touch up painted solved it. Have not been able to give it a shake down cruise because of rain. Maybe later today. Picture is “Gulf” tires that came off. Anyone hear of those?

It is very satisfying to install 4 new Firestone tires on my Tudor. I noticed that most of the YouTube videos of people doing this job did it while the wheel is still on the car. I find it easier to do on a tarp in the soft grass from the backside of the wheel. By the way, it’s some hard work...
