    Johnson lifters or not ?

Johnson lifters are much heavier than stock (unadjustable) FOMOCO lifters. Lighter is better. There is a significant difference in weight among the various Johnson-style lifters on the market. Shop around. One way to spend a quiet evening with a postal scale is to weigh each lifter and file...

'31 Coupe; not a how much is it worth Q, but....

IMHO the price seems a tad high. I think $4,000 is closer, given that all the sheet metal is there, the title is clear, etc. If it's going to be a rod, the Firestones would probably be sold, as would the rear end, and maybe the front axle too. Price would depend on condition of metal.

    Steering Wheel Restoration

I have a very rough steering wheel to be restored/recast. The ads for Quality Restorations and Koch's both look impressive. Has anyone out there used either one? Any recommendations? Thanks for your help. Bob

    4 Spoke Steering Wheel

Looking for a white plastic 4 spoke steering wheel from the mid '50's. This was sold at Ford dealers as an after market accessory. It has a horn ring with the Ford emblem in the center, as I recall.
