1941/1942 Ford 1 1/2 tonne truck bench seat

Hi All, I am having trouble finding a couple of good condition bench seats for my 41/42 trucks. I have read a few suggestions in other posts but mainly American vehicles. Could anyone suggest a good seat replacement from vehicles we may have in Australia? Chrysler mini vans are not common...

    Reduction box

Hi All, Definitely a reduction box, 2:1. Which would mean very low if you were in first gear, the reduction box engaged and then the differential in low as well! First one I've seen, i was hoping it was an overdrive! Cheers Corey Sent from my SM-F956B using Tapatalk

    42 1 1/2 tonne- restoration

Spot on, I had trouble finding a good set of Ford guards over here so when I spotted these i liked the shape and the location of the spare tyre cut-out. I thought I could build the tray to follow the rear shape of the guards and and use the tyre cutout as a location to bring out a lay shaft...

    1941 Semi Truck

For me i will not be fully restoring as I do not want to change the truck but rather keep the history. I will check all the brakes etc and make sure everything functions as it should. I will give it a very good clean and either matt clear it or maybe a boiled linseed mix wipe ( everyone's...

    1941 Semi Truck

Hi All, So i believe the truck was from WW2, after the war it was in central NSW in Australia and delivered general items as per the ad and an old picture( see pictures). I bought it from a gentleman's estate that sadly passed, I knew him as he originally sold me the donor truck for the 42...

    42 1 1/2 tonne- restoration

Hi Gary, The compressor is for the air conditioner unit in the cab, i sourced an electric driven unit as I didn't want the AC compressor on the engine. This way it is hidden up under the tray and cannot be seen. Cheers Corey Sent from my SM-F936B using Tapatalk
