I drove this truck for a year with this transmission. It works well, no bad noises, no broken teeth. It sometimes came out of 2nd gear slowing down. It needs synchros and a going through. 1st gear has some chipping on the edges of the teeth. Van Pelt has every part you need to recondition this...

I have a new 10" Ford tractor pressure plate. It is the Long style with adjusting bolts on the fingers. The dimensions are the same as the pressure plate I took out of my F1. It does not have counter weights on the levers. Can I use that on my 8BA? Will it cause a stiffer clutch pedal? Anybody...
Did Ford use a 3 finger pressure plate without the adjusting nuts on the fingers? I pulled one out of my truck that had been in there for more than 30 years, no adjusting nuts on the fingers. And it had a rebuilt sticker on it. Can it be rebuilt a second time?
The clutch I just removed is 3 finger Long style but without the adjusting bolts on the fingers. I was surprised to see that because the truck sat for years in a barn, and the PP has heat cracks and the disc is down to the rivets on both sides, and that happened before it got put away.
Has anyone bought a good quality 10" pressure plate and clutch disc? The one I pulled out of my truck is cheap, worn out and foreign made. I don't have a core so send to the rebuilder.
