Stay with the six volt, I bought a 52 ford truck that some one put a 8 volt battery in and it would not charge because you need to adjust your gen. to do 8 volts. As long as everything is wired correctly six volts works just fine.

I am considering putting a fiberglass tilt nose on my 55 f-5 custom truck. I have a few questions, 1 is the cab the same as the pickups? And who makes a good product for this project.

I like what I see in the pictures. I have a t-5 but was reluctant to put it in as I was told you have to convert to open drive, that means spreading the wish bones on the rear. Obviously you don't have to.
