    Ignition problem

I finally got around to looking at the truck and the starter issue. With much blush on my face I must admit my wrong here. When I originally suspected the starter solenoid there was one at my work that they were going to throw away. So I thought I would be smart and take it to use, perfect...

    Ignition problem

Yes, looks like that one. I think I have the correct drawing which shows one of the control wires coming from the ignition switch to the solenoid and the other one going back to the ignition switch. When I ground the return wire then the solenoid will pull in. Thank you.

    Ignition problem

I have a 1962 Econoline pickup. About 2 months ago I was out with the truck. I stopped for a couple of hours and when I went to start it there was nothing. Assuming the start solenoid was bad I replaced that, and still nothing. I then thought the ignition switch was bad so I replaced that, and...

    Tudor roof-I need some help!

I am trying to finish the rear trim piece on my 29 tudor sedan. It is a 2 piece part and is straight, but needs to bend down around the sides and the slope forward at the same time. I've looked around but have not found them pre-bent anywhere for sale. I've tried to bend it by hand and also...

I am restoring a 1929 tudor sedan and I have a question or two about one of the interior wood pieces. The piece(s) I am questioning are the ones that fit in the rear of the body, just behind the rear side windows, and just above the rear seat riser. The top part of them are curved to fit the...

With help from the forum page I was able to track them down. They are called windlace retainers. Hmmm, go figure. Thanks again to all. Bob

    Metal finish strip

I'm sorry! I posted something in the forum and I completely forgot to add it here! Duh. It is a 1929 Tudor sedan. Again, I apologize for my over-sight. Guess I need to proof read the ad first. Thanks, Bob

    Metal finish strip

I am looking for the metal finish strip the runs vertically on the front body post, it is used for holding the interior windlace trim piece in place. It is fastened with rivets. One on each side, 42" long. Thanks, Bob.

    Metal trim piece

I am installing the interior on my 1929 Tudor sedan and the instructions say to put the front windlace under a "metal finish strip" which is fastened to the front body pillar by rivets. Does anyone know what this piece is called and would you have any? 2 are needed, one for each side. Thanks, Bob.
