A little off point but what about the emergency brakes? I used a 39 e/brake handle & cable to attach to the later juice brakes for a 39 or 40 rear end. Not worried about keeping original because I have a 49 truck 8RT in my 35. Hope this helps.

Which way does the key turn to unlock the original spare tire cover? Clockwise or Counter Clockwise?? I didn't want to break the key off.:o
