I can tell you all for sure a beautiful 41 Ford front clip will not stretch onto a 41 Merc coupe ! 4" seems to the extra length on Merc frame. Too bad as the Ford fenders were almost like NOS !

I had inquired not long ago about redoing a 34 grill which still has mostly original finish and only needed work on a couple bars at the bottom. Was quoted a price about $3500.00 for starters unless it needed more work ! Agree, that plater does outstanding work but too pricy for this guy...

The insert was a trade deal I made with someone else, the one that came with the shell was also junk. I did keep it and would love to install new bars as most are all rusted at the bottom, outside frame is good though !
