Brent...Then I have to remove the spring and replace the rear end Assy. Is it easier to get the spring off after the rear end is out?

Does anyone know who sells a repair kit for a Vacuum wiper motor (model a ford 1929) ? I can find gaskets and paddle parts, but cant seem to find a kit with the rocker spring & I really need that rocker spring.

I have a pair (2) rebabited model a rods. They have not been installed since the babbit pour. I bought them for my car without asking what the journal size was. The rods are standard 1.5 inch and my crank is .020 under. They both have shims. I paid a lot more but I will take $100 for the pair...

End play could be due to wear in the head where the shaft rides. I replaced my packing with leakless seal. You cant see it behind the packing nut and it hasnt leaked a drop in 4 years. Be careful not to overtighten

1929 Model A With the engine in the car, will a box end wrench loosen the rear main cap nuts for a bearing adjustment? Or do I have to build a special wrench? I built this engine a while back and have put a lot of miles on it & it's starting to get a little noisy.

I an 65 & have had my 29 since I was 14. Unless the old part is Busted in half....Keep it. I cant tell you how many times ive robbed an old part to make something work, Most times the old parts are far superior to new ones.
