You might get more responses if you remind people what model you have. In a previous post, you mentioned that it is a 33 Tudor, but worth mentioning again. I'm not familiar with these cars so I can't answer your question. Hopefully, some of the guys that know these cars well will chime in...

Habusailor, I have a 40 year old Craftsman that is 12 volt. It will work with my 6V car, but the strobe is brighter if I attach the battery leads to a 12 volt battery instead of the 6V car battery. Best of Luck. Mike

Mr Laser, I'm not a photographer for sure. But these pix may help. The cable on mine comes out of firewall and arcs down to a clip on the steering gear. The other cable is speedo. Then it passes through this tab on bellhousing. Not sure if that's correct, but the car hasn't been messed...

I have read posts on here where people were able to use various home recipes to free up a stuck valve. I tried those things, and going through the intake opening as you have. I let MMO, trans fluid and WD40 soak in the guide for days. In the end, I had to remove the head to free up the valve...

I'll take a couple of pictures that show how the rest of the cable is routed from the firewall down to the trans on mine. It's a pretty straight shot to that solenoid the way it's setup. Mike

Don't know if you still need a picture of that cable clip for the OD, but here's the one on my '50 Custom Deluxe. Haven't found a part number though. Have you checked with Mac VanPelt? Mike

I'm pretty sure that the 1.5 ohm coil is for 6 volt electrical systems and the 3.0 ohm coil is for 12 volt systems. I also understand that using copper core wires may cause problems with their electronics in the distributor.

Keep at it. This "book" has helped me a couple of times recently. I'll see if I can post the main diagram that might help see how it all connects. You may also be able to grab the diagram itself off the internet. :) Mike
