Yes Model A Taxi

Yes this is an original 1929 taxi unrestored and we toured the Upper Pennisula many times.

Plain seatbelts mounted to frame bolts on outside, grade 8 bolts with large fender washers on inside.

After finishing a 500 mile tour one of our club members had a frontal crash. He walked away with a broken kneecap and forehead cuts. After nearly 50 years of ownership we installed seat belts just last year. Belts are a life saver.

I have both of these in my two Model A's and I am very careful about not using too much spark advance in my cars. Will using premium no alcohol high octane gas reduce or eliminate my worries about knock as with 87 octane?

I have both and agree the 5.5 is ideal, but the 6.1 is fine if you manage the spark advance.The extra power is hardly noticable.

Paul is the best thing to happen to the Model A family since the great Les Andrews manuals! I watch all his videos. He relates to a new generation of enthusiasts due to his fantastic communication skills . I really appreciate his emphasis on reliability and servicability as opposed to fine point...

I used velcro stips from Amazon amd it works great.

I bought FHT and they do improve braking!

I used hemp rope from Amazon and it used about 110 feet of 4MM rope. Took about 1 1/2 hours to wrap the wheel.

I used 4mm hemp bought off Amazon. The color matches my top.

Pretty funny!

Anybody rope wrap their steering wheel to give their car that 1930s look?
