That is what I am asking. Seeing that scoop thing I was wondering if it was just that. the funny notches in the scoop make me think it would go somewhere else. any other ideas fordbarn experts?

The interior looks great. Are you using a kit or are you sewing it your self? I always like upholstery work because you stay relatively clean. I need more practice with it and grow my trim skills.

I Learned how valuable the foot rest is the first time I drove an A when I was 16 back in the 80's. I Made Dad's little roadster buck like a rodeo horse. Right. my understanding is the panhard bar is for keeping the rear and or front axle from moving from side to side, not help body roll. I also know you need one in the front with a cross steering car to prevent bump steer.

I wouldn't think it would make any difference if you ran tube shocks, stock shocks or even friction shocks as long as there wasn't any clearance issues. Was the clearance issue the reason why? I like the responses here about making the handling better. I am considering one on my sedan project...

Yes I am aware of that and that disc was used for mock up purposes. I have a better one in the car now. Thank you for keeping an eye out!

I have one like that on my roadster too. I haven't had any issues with it for more than 20 years.
