    Nu rex condenser

I don't bother with the new style condenser on the upper plate for the "modern" points. It is a compromise the way the pigtail on the condenser is kind of in the way of the moving cam and the rotor. Snyder's and probably Bert's and others sell the stock style "short-proof" condenser. That is...

    Fender Skirts

Just one more thing to deal with if changing a flat.

More kudos for Snyder's Antique Auto

I have dealt with Kevin too. He was most helpful and got us through what was otherwise a confusing mess.

    MAFCA Pendleton event coverage

Our club, (Walla Walla Sweet A's) had responsibility for the repair tent, and as president of the club, I spent as much time there as anyone, but everyone jumped in. We were certainly busy. There were a couple of engine swaps, a couple of complete clutch replacements, a couple of head...

    Water Outlet Cracking?

Many gaskets are too thick and they will compress as the nuts are tightened. The water outlet neck nuts/studs are at each end. When tightened down @ 55# torque, that compresses the very ends and the brittle cast iron neck won't flex, but instead cracks. Les Andrews and others suggest putting a...

    Mod Kit For Seniors

It seems to me that Henry and Edsel did not anticipate almost 100 years ago that the Model A would be a favorite of aging folks like us and that the cars would even be around 100 years on! And yet, here we are! :D

Seat tracks for late 31 coupe

Looking for a diagram or drawing that shows how the track runners for a late 31 coupe fit together. A member of my club purchased this car a few weeks ago and the seat was just sitting on the floor of the coupe unattached. There is a part of the track that is riveted to the floor, but the part...

    Light Switch

I will be the third to say you must have remembered it wrong and the AI bot has it wrong too. Sorry... One click clockwise = parking and two clicks CCW = Low Beam and High Beam in that order. Straight down = off.

Our fellow German Model A friend sold his car.

I enjoyed Adrian’s wit and the composition of his videos. He has a LOT of talent, and intelligence. I also liked riding with him (virtually) on trips through Germany. There is another German YouTuber I regularly follow as well who takes Model A rides through the cities and countryside. Adrian...

    No P0wer from Battery

You didn't mention starter. Does that turn over? Was the car working before the new battery? If the starter works and nothing else and if it has the fairly standard after-market fuse, check the fuse. Otherwise check all the wiring.

    Manifold Replacement

I used to have a 1978 Ford F250 with a six cylinder which also had the cupped washers on the manifold. I think they were maybe a little smaller, but I don't have the P/U anymore to check.

difference between 28-29 and 30-31 gas tanks

I was sure I was running on vapors the other day and when I filled up my '29, it took 9.924 gallons (US). That was cutting it too close!
