I heard that Napa will ship heavy items at a reasonable price. I have not used them though so I can't say for sure. Maybe worth checking out.

Peter, I did my hood ornament for my 37. The ornament had the glass in it . I wanted to take the glass out to polish. In doing so, I broke the back piece off. the "muggy " weld worked great on it. I polished the glass, and got it rechromed. turned out great.You cant even see where it was...
