Sounds like my lower is correct and complete. But what stops the seat from taking off backwards when the massive 4cyl spins up? Or my fat *** shifts around? Does the rear cushion prevent the front from moving? Anyone have pics of the rear bracket the back drops into?

I found a seat bottom and rear on the local classifieds, drove 2hrs and picked it up. It is better than my milk crate, has upholstery and springs! I have the wedge shaped bit secured to the floor, but how is the seat frame attached to it, and the rear secured to the car? My A has a long way to...

Dont suppose you could measure the rear hoop, that sits at the 45* angle? thats what I'm missing, and i can probably scabriacte a useable one if I had dimensions.

The car is definitely not getting a $5K top. It will be lucky to get a $500 top. At some point it got a barnwood roof with copper trim. Id like the added headroom the original style top affords, and the wooden roof is rotting away now.. Something 'period correct' and in the style of the car...
