I'm looking for a complete panel for below the deck lid on a 26/27 Runabout.
Yes, I am aware that poor aftermarket skins are available. I'm looking for the inner structure more than anything.
Thanks.

Im gonna build a dirt racer or speedster style car out of some old junk. I got a T chassis for free from a club friend. I also have A axles and all the brake rods and pieces. When I loosely bolted the rear axle in the axle landed right in the hogs head. Aside from the width at the engine mounts...
Here are some photos after I cleaned it all up.
They won't work on my car because of the angle I'm running the rods at.
They will go to a fellow Ford Barn Member from CA to re-energize his motivation to complete his build.
Hopefully this thread will help others out.

Well, after a year I finally stumbled upon what they are. My buddy Jay, who bought a set, had the picture in a thread he started a few years back. Ironic.
It's a Houdaille tube shock conversion kit. :)

Have a look at this video.
Thanks! Any idea who made them?
I have not had a chance to see how they fit. I'm gonna soak them in vinegar for a few days and try to get them apart.
If you happen to have any photos of how they mount that would be great.

35/36 Ford aftermarket tube shock mounts 1935 1936
A friend and I each picked up sets of the clamp on tube shock mounts for the 35/36 rear radius rods.
Any info on them and if they are worth using?
Thanks.
