Ross- thanks so much, but my car has a negative ground. Does that change your instructions?

Need to replace my coil which is remoted from distributor via kit. The old coil has 2 posts, one says "Dist.", the other says "Batt."; however, in following the wires the one that says "Dist. goes to the battery, and the one that says "Batt." is wired to the distributor and that always worked...
