Look around and find one that is to far gone and use the roof. Or find some pieces from a chop. It will be real tough to fix it. Find something like this or trade.

You would have to really want the car to restore it. If it has some sentimental I would understand. Find someone trustworthy to take a look at it. And let them handle selling it. When it comes to cars that are taken apart like this. And have been sitting for a long time. Don't expect big money.

I think Reds sells some headers that fit pretty good. Reversing the firewall will gain you a few inches. But that's just on a 30-31. But I allso think by doing that you loose the room for the factory gas tank.

With stuff like that. I like to use my torch and fuse them together. It requires very little heat. Just do a little at a time. And use your hammer and Dolly.

Is anything welded to the axle? I've found a few that had crap welded to it.

The inside is perfect. The outside is rusty because it sat unpaired for 30 years. There have been plenty of engines that have had rusty outsides run just fine.

Would it be better to just do the outside of the block with easy off? The inside is real clean.

I've though about the molasses. But don't really want to wait that long.
