Thank you Bob C! I had the engine painted after the rebuild by a local body show and was worried about running the wrong size tap through the threads since the paint is thicker than spray can paint.

Does anyone know off hand what dimensions/thread measurements the bolts are that are used to connect the transmissions to a 59ab Flathead. The car has a 3 on the tree. I’m about to put the rebuilt Flathead back in the car but bolts weren’t labeled when taken apart. Thank you in advance!
