pics of early fords at historic or unique places

I don't know how historic the Davy Crockett State Park is, but I had to take a picture of my roadster there last Fall. The picture in front of "Wendover Will" was taken during Speed Week in 2006. Later that day, after a few adult beverages, I was convinced my roadster needed to have a number...

    Not old car weather!

I brought my roadster from New England to Arizona. I had been driving around in the unseasonable cool weather, but parked it two days ago. I refuse to put the curtains on and run the heater. Here's a picture I took outside my rental condo this morning. This is not why I came here. lol

    My Early Ford Store Adventure

My wife and I toured the EFS on Friday. I couldn't carry on a coherent conversation for the rest of the day. My wife walked out and went antiquing in the village and I didn't even know she was gone! I did buy some ignition parts while there and a great T-shirt. Thanks for the pictures, Denise...

Denise, Way too crazy busy is putting it mildly. Great seeing you too. We had a blast at the show. Great having my car there after all of the bumps we experienced getting there. Marge was happy to finally meet you as well. I have quoted some of your posts from the hamb over the years. She likes...

    Now this is a flathead!

I took this at the Grand National Roadster Show in Pomona CA today. Lots of nice flatheads. Too many to post. Go the the hamb and click on anything to do with the GNRS and you'll be in for a treat. Couldn't resist posting a pic of my roadster sitting out in the rain. Saturday was perfect, but...

An Early Ford Truck Post... Let's see them.

It was so long ago, it seems like it was a dream. However, with my current ride, I'm living a dream that was smoldering in me for many years. Life is good.

An Early Ford Truck Post... Let's see them.

This is a picture of my high school hot rod from 1962. The shiny picture is how it looks today. The sad part for me is, I haven't owned it since 1973.

Joe, I'll be at the Fairplex all day today, too. Hope to see you there. Then I'm going back to Fountain hills thru early March. Have to wait for some of the snow to melt back home.

let's give Ol' Ron a "get well soon."

I ran into George from VT today, at the Grand National Roadster Show, in LA. He told me Ron is under the weather with a couple of problems. One is a hernia surgury. Get well soon, Ron!!!

Broke down on the Jersey Pike at the Hightstown exit. Managed to drive to a AAA recommended repair shop, using the manual trailer brake controller.

    blown engine adventure continues

Thanks Fred. Had hoped to see you on the way out, but we were on a tight schedule that got even tighter when we had a 24 hour delay when my truck broke down in New Jersey. The trip home looks even tighter, but I will do my best to try and see you folks. No promises. There's always next year.
