    1935 Ford Truck Windshield

I am re-installing a windshield in a 1935 Ford Pick up truck. The previous owner removed the stock crank out windshield and replaced it with a fixed windshield. I am repainting the truck and am in the process of re-installing the windshield but I need a rubber seal. Unfortunately, as I bought...

Can anyone tell me which is correct for a 1935 Ford pickup? I see some online with the V8 symbol on the top and some without so I am confused. http://www.ebay.com/itm/1935-Ford-Grille-Shell-Hood-Ornament-CHROME-V8-35-/350623186155...

    1935 Truck bed

Yes, someone "idiot" (previous owner), did a nasty short cut and put a wood floor over the steel original bed to hide all the rust. I could not see it when I bought it even though I inspected it on a hoist. From the bottom it looked fine and was covered up with some messy undercoating. When I...

    1935 Pickup Step Plates

Oldandtired : Yes, the truck in question is the one in my avatar. You can also look at an album of pictures of my 1935 Ford truck on my profile. Nice to know that in 1935-37 step plates were not available for 1/2 ton trucks. I guess some of the Ford truck parts dealers are not accurate.

    Running Board Covers.

I am being told that LINE-X can be sanded so that it will have a smoother finish. I don't want these to be as smooth as glass but, certainly don't want it to appear to overly rough either. Has anyone tried to sand out LINE-X? Can it be done so that it will knock down the big bumps leaving a...

Mike, Thanks for the pictures of your running boards. Are they sprayed with LINE-X or another brand of bed liner?

    Running Board Covers.

Dick, thank you for your response. I was going unbolt them, stripping the bubbling paint due to bad prep-work and since I will not be able to match the paint, I was going send them out to get sprayed with LINE-X as a last resort. I am contemplating next year of repainting the truck but this...

    Need advice with wipers!

Gentlemen, as a "newbee" to the Ford Barn, I ask your humble opinions. I have a 1935 Ford Hot Rod with many custom touches. I am unfamiliar with many of the parts required for installing the "best" period looking and "best working" windshield wipers for this truck. I want the "right look" as...
