Ya, agree “off topic,” and will continue to look for anything ARDUN specific.

I have a Mallory Electronic and is good. Haven’t figured out a good smog valve setup yet for an 8ba. Any thoughts? Don’t want to drill original intake cover or valve covers. In any event, should have done this during the build. Tom

Great to hear you are going to put an ARDUN back in. My heads have are the early ones with the front winter outlets. Would have preferred center outlets but finding any ARDUN heads was difficult, so these do fine. I did use Ronnieroadster‘s spark plug tube seals in the build and they work...

I have an Electric Fan in my ARDUN equipped 53, 33 coupe and 34 tub. All work great. Coupe has a 5.0 HO with a Holley Terminator System that controls the fan nicely. The others have a thermostat control with an override switch.

It is upshift and downshifts that occur or don’t occur at the correct time. The Transgo shift kit is very easy to install by anyone who knows how to use tools. The kit changes the shifts so they occur properly.

I put an 86 AOD ‘53 with with an Speedway Adaptor and Lockar linkage. Works great. Gotta be careful and set the throttle pressure correctly or you can burn up the trans. Also, pay attention to the rear end ratio. If above 3:50, the shifting will drive you up the wall. Solved my problem...
