There's one on display at the Crawford auto-aviation museum in Cleveland. Also a later model thunderbird and a Lincoln, both in stainless. Pretty cool museum.

My 1950 F1. I brought it up from New Mexico several years ago and rebuilt it. It spent 30 yrs. sitting out in the dirt and dust. Now I drive it every chance I get. Its been all over the state of Ohio so far.

I painted the lettering on my F1's hubcaps and hood trim. I went to the hobby shop and got a small 1oz bottle of the blue model car paint and a very small brush. It worked out pretty good, color seemed to look correct, just have to make sure everything's really clean before painting so it...

yea, i already tried a seperate ground wire from the switch housing to a known good ground, got the same results. I think my flasher was made in china...likely the issue

Im glad someone posted this. I have the exact same problem in my F1, always though it might be the flasher. Looks like i need to give them a call.
