Hi guys installing a scatt crank got the broze main caps the one you have to line bore, My machine shop is asking on the rear one there is a grove in the cap itself does this go to the rear or front???????

Just got my 26 coupe the motor is bad shape,Going to rebuild it just order the stroker-crank from scat, with 280 cam, 7 1\2 degree wheel, hp head, and got a vintage intake system zenith intake, going to run Model A rods and Pistons Made for the stroker crank, not sure why you cant run Model A...

Terry the way i did mine is cut a v take out 1and 1/2 preheat oven 450 the used cast iron rods build with each pass when done pack it in sand and let cool. done this with three none broke couple of thousand miles on each

The Shields I saw was around the bottom part of the oil pump half way. Please help me out how this was helping distributing oil around the cylinders. I cant see how thanks AL
