I am new to The Ford Barn, so I hope I don't repeat anything discussed earlier. I have a 51 f1 with 239 flathead and standard shift on column(light duty trans)... I get a very noticeable chatter when starting out in first gear and somewhat in reverse but is fine once you get rolling, no shifting...
