    D Nuts I think

Turns out that Roy Nacewicz has them. I was just looking in the wrong place. We move forward.

    D Nuts I think

Thank you 19fordy and rotorwrench. That does look like them. It appears that once the nut is inserted, some flaring tool is used to capture the nut in place. I saw the pictures on google after your link, and did find Snyder and the Model A stuff. I emailed Roy with pictures so I hope for the...

    D Nuts I think

Hi all, It has been a while since I was here or working on my 34 pickup. Health issues behind me, and moving forward. I am replacing the sheet metal channel that runs across the bed under the tail gate. It is riveted in place for the most part, but has some interesting fasteners in three places...

Thanks 4port. Did you use a triangle file to shape the square hole? Or did you find a better way? Al K.

    1934 Pickup Bed end rail

Hi, I am replacing the end rail on my 34 pickup. I have drilled out the rivets and removed the rail. Looking at the tight areas like inside the stake pocket, how does one put the rivets back? There is at best 2" clearance inside the pocket. I can't see how a bucking bar or other instrument could...

    34 car/pickup front suspension

Hi, I've been away for awhile. Med problems, but back at it again. My question deals with the length of the bars in a four bar front suspension system. As I purchased the truck years ago it had a dropped tube axle and the four bar was in place. It has 24" long bars. When I was reading Pete and...

    Transmission Mount

On the same topic. With the rear of the T5 supported on a fabricated cross member, and the engine supported off the water pumps, is there any other support needed? I am a little concerned about the weight being supported by the aluminum ******. Is there any cause for concern or should I move...

    1934 rear spring???

I believe you will find that the 34 rear spring has both the usual bow as well as an arc to mount it not directly over the axel mounts. Al K.

    Something different?

Hi, Which town did you find this engine in? I am in that area and would love to dig it up. Thanks, Al K.
