If you have a 30 amp fuse installed, are you expecting your starter switch to fail. IMHO, that would be the only reason to install a battery cutout.

I did my own RTS conversion 15 years ago and did not use any rear transmission mount. In my opinion, it is not needed.

Ditto what TMarsh said. I powder coated mine in 2007 and have 25000 miles on it and it STILL looks great. The powder coat holds up better than paint ever after pulling the engine several times.
