Is this a right coil for 48 6 volt?? Pertronix Coil Black 40,000 volts 1.5 OHM 40111 Epoxy Filled coil and who rebuilds the ford typ coil??? thanks for all replies.........Al

Waiting to hear any news on the rebuild,sure hope it all goes well... My 48 just had a coil fail no fun but the replacement coil makes like a new car out of it as it now starts on the first turn......... Al

I have this 48 ford coupe and was doing some cleaning on the engine.The spedo shows 64,ooo miles on the car any way the block is painted red and the heads have blue on them,doesn't smoke or seem to use oil. What color is it all soposed to be? Thanks for any info and this is a great site read on...
