    What is the condition of the thrust bearings sitting on top of the King pin? Are they carrying the load of the weight of the front of the car. Adjust with shims if needed.

    I brought a car crossing Niagra to FL. Customs at the border did not want to bother with the paperwork and told me to go to Customs in Orlando. Orlando Customs were not happy that Niagra did not process it but went without a hitch. Had to take car to DMV to verify VIN and at the Tag Office...

    12 volt aux battery grounded to frame??

    Thanks for that information. I was concerned about common ground. I will have to check into that. Want the convenience of having a 12V circuit to run 12V accessories. I am not a purist and plan on common 12V turn signals which are much cheaper than the 6V aftermarket Model A style.
